Sharon Maslin, a Virginia native, grew up in Montgomery, Alabama. She received a Bachelor of Music Education from Samford University, Birmingham, Alabama and a Master of Church music degree from Southern Baptist Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky.

During her 17-year tenure as Choral Director at Space Coast Jr/Sr High school in Port St. John, she founded the Brevard Children’s Chorus in 2004. Under her leadership, The choir sang with the Brevard Symphony Orchestra and performed numerous other concerts in Brevard County.  

 

She, and her husband Mark, recently moved to Black Mountain, North Carolina to live closer to their son and his family, Mrs. Maslin enjoys being retired and watching their grandchildren grow up.
