Amanda Avey accompanies the Brevard Youth Chorus during rehearsals and in performance. Amanda was a K-12 music teacher in Brevard for over a decade – and the choral director at Eau Gallie High School for several years. The lifelong Space Coast resident graduated from the University of South Florida in Tampa with a degree in Music Education. In addition to her work with the BYC, Amanda is an accompanist at Satellite Beach United Methodist Church. A committed music advocate and singer, Amanda is a member of Brevard’s premier choral ensemble, the Indialantic Chamber Singers.
