Director: Beth Green

Beth Green is the Artistic Director for the Brevard Youth Chorus, the Indialantic Chamber Singers and the Director of Classic Worship at First United Methodist Church in Melbourne, where she directs choir and hand bells. Beth graduated summa cum laude from the studio of Dr. Elizabeth Graham at the University of Florida with her degree in choral music education.

State certified to teach grades K-12, Mrs. Green taught elementary school music for over a decade, most recently here in Brevard County. She was awarded Teacher of the Year and earned the prestigious Music Demonstration School designation twice during her time as Music Specialist at Audubon Elementary. She has taught school, church, and community choirs of all ages, with members aged from two to 92.

Beth enjoys conducting. She has prepared choral groups to perform many works, including the Mozart Requiem, Vivaldi Gloria, Handel's Dixit Dominus, Schubert's Mass in G, and Bach's Jesu, Meine Freude with the Dr. Vernon Boushell concert series, where she has also performed as the soprano soloist. As a founding member of the Gulf Coast Girl Choir in Tampa, Beth credits most of her vocal training to excellent choral conductors. She regularly sings with Brevard Community Chorus, Riverside Chorale, and the Space Coast Symphony Chorus. Beth lives in Melbourne with her husband and young son.


Accompanist: Lori Jahn

Lori Jahn has been an independent piano teacher and piano accompanist for over 20 years. She graduated from Michigan Technological University with the Degree of Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with Honors. Her professional musical experience includes 16 years as a Nationally Certified Teacher of Piano with the Music Teachers National Association. She has been primary keyboardist and occasional choir director for All Saints Lutheran Church, and the Hartland High School Choirs, both in Hartland, Michigan. In February 2009 she relocated with her husband, David, to Melbourne, Florida, where she has been keyboard accompanist for the Brevard Schools Summer Fine Arts Program, the Indialantic Chamber Singers, some musical theater, and individual solo and ensemble events. Lori has four grown children and six grandchildren.


Founder: Sharon Maslin

Sharon Maslin is the Junior High Choral Director at Space Coast Jr/Sr High School in Port St. John, where she has taught for ten years. She holds a Bachelor of Music Education degree from Samford University in Alabama as well as a Master of Church Music degree from Southern Seminary. An accomplished pianist, Mrs. Maslin has over 25 years experience leading children's choirs and continues to offer private and class piano lessons for both children and adults. The Roanoke Virginia native realized her gift for teaching and began a formal career after decades of directing children's choirs in churches. It remains her passion today.
